The choice is yours. At Shaws’ you’ll find few high end bikes “on the floor.” Unusual for a high end shop? We think not! The buyer looking for an upgrade may be surprised how inexpensive a hand built bicycle can be. A much greater value than production bikes at all but entry level. Come in and ask about a Torelli, Mondonico, Casati, Fuso, Della Santa, or Serotta custom built.

Bianchi Bicycles
Is bicycle camping coming back to popularity? During her bicycle tour from Anchorage to school at Humboldt State in Arcata, Jessica Shaw, the owners’ only and favorite daughter, commented on how many bicycle tourist she saw. Quite a few in the Yukon and many more once she got through Seattle. She and three of the four other girls rode Bianchi Volpes. The bikes proved comfortable and durable packed with all their gear traversing the Yukon and still efficient enough when needed to quickly get them through grizzly bear country. Cycling Clothing
The Shaws’ clothing selection has always featured function before fashion. Jerseys are stocked in timeless simple designs, solid colors, long and short sleeve, in modern fabrics, and traditional wool. Shorts, bibs, tights, and warmers are offered in depth. Allowing the opportunity to find the right fit both in size and function. Shoes from Carnac and Vittoria are stocked in sizes 36 through 50 in a variety of widths, men’s and women’s lasts road and “walkable” styles.
